Naoto's brother Daichi goes to the hospital for appendicitis. During the surgery, Khan Digifer appears from the digital world and aids Takeshi in hacking the hospital's computer. Gridman joins Naoto in pursuing Khan Digifer.
Naoto and friends learn more about Gridman. Khan Digifer plans to use a college's computers to warp space and connect the real world with the computer world.
While playing hide and seek, Daichi and Kana lock themselves in a truck. Although they have a cordless phone, Takeshi's latest monster is wreaking havoc in the telephone system, leaving them unable to call for help.
After the arrogant Mr. Hosono claims his computerized car cannot be hacked, Takeshi attacks it with a virus monster. Naoto's father and Mr. Hosono become trapped in the out-of-control car.
While Takeshi's monster disrupts the supply chain, Ippei's obsession with a local shop's elusive special hot dog gives him the inspiration he needs to design an upgrade for Gridman.
Takeshi's rebuilt monster attacks a music store, but it is defeated by a benevolent digital creature. Takeshi uses "Murder Music" to corrupt the creature, causing audio mayhem in the store.
