In nature, all who breathe, be it in air or water, are mandatory members of the food pyramid - and in this world of eat or be eaten, the view is best from the top. Planet earth is home to fearsome creatures equipped to maintain their position as apex predators - they are armed to the teeth and possess a predatory prowess few can escape. From the mega great-white shark and his ability to launch out of the water mid-hunt to the mighty Nile crocodile who lies in wait - quietly hidden from his unsuspecting prey to the expert hunting wild dogs who are able to tear up their prey in a matter of split seconds. We take a look at the fearsome creatures whose deadly bites far out-weigh their bark.
