A parody of a James Bond movie. Gold Metallic Bond is sent off to investigate why Carbon, Nitrogen and other atoms are training themselves in other types of bonds. He discovers their bond school and university finding that they are all working towards ""Project D"". In the finale, Bond is shown around a giant DNA. We use all the standard cliches and puns to contrive a way of showing each type of bonding.

Agent Gold is assigned to investigate Project D, headed by Carbon who has trained millions of atoms to develop this plan. Together with Oxygen and Fluorine, Gold penetrates Carbon's secret school and finds atoms being drilled.

Gold finally meets the mysterious Chlorine. They try bonding with no success. Suddenly Carbon and his heavies arrive on the scene. Gold and Chlorine are able to escape, but wait - Chlorine has ionically bonded with Potassium.

In a secret location, Copper and Silver separate Chlorine from Potassium. Gold and Chlorine return to Carbon's secret school - but cannot find Fluorine and Oxygen. Carbon appears, and Gold and Chlorine flee to a nearby bond shop.

In the hideout, Chlorine is trapped in Carbon's buckyball and Gold is put behind bars. When released, Ethanol takes him on a guided tour of the completed Project D. It's giant DNA molecule which will bring Planet Earth to life.
