Idealistic Jin-ho studies in an art school in Paris. He feels his roommate, Hwang, has sold out when the latter accepts a lucrative commercial arts position. Disappointed in his friend, Jin-ho leaves the house they shared. He finds a small room which he pays for by washing dishes in Mrs Yun's cafe which gives him time to paint pictures of Paris from the top of Mount Marte

Arthur, a young father to whom life has disadvantaged, has to devote to collect waste for recycling at the landfill, along with his wife and three young daughters. The twist of fate gives you the opportunity to develop their talents, when someone (desperate for the little use of their business) takes in the dump material for footwear. Arthur collects these materials, with great dedication and raw talent, manages to make his first pair of shoes, which sell easily and start earning enough to support his family. Over time discover the wonder of feeling fulfilled and satisfied with their creations, but not before passing by disagreements with his family and be disappointed. Arturo, un joven padre de familia al cual vida lo ha desfavorecido, tiene que dedicarse a recolectar desperdicios para reciclar en el basurero municipal, junto con su esposa y tres pequeñas hijas. Las casualidades del destino le dan la oportunidad de desarrollar su talento, cuando alguien (desesperado por la poca utilidad de su negocio) tira en el basurero material para elaborar calzado. Arturo recoge estos materiales, con mucha dedicación y su talento nato, logra realizar sus primeros pares de zapatos, los cuales se venden fácilmente y empieza a ganar lo suficiente para mantener a su familia. Al paso del tiempo descubre la maravilla de sentirse realizado y satisfecho con sus creaciones, no sin antes pasar por desavenencias con su familia y ser defraudado.
