Three runaway girls hijack a car.

Life in a Detroit suburb is closing in on Zoe and her two friends, Sarah and Ally. They decide to skip class, skip town, hijack a car and head west following Zoe's desire to find meaning in her Native American heritage. The girls cross paths with Cecilia, an Englishwoman totally out of place in the West. She is on a mission of her own: to fulfil her mother's last request: and scatter he ashes in a mysterious in New Mexico. Zoe believes that destiny has brought them together and the two embark upon a spiritual journey through the blazing western desert. When Zoe gets lost it takes a Native American spiritual leader and the spirits of her Cherokee guardians to find her and bring her back to safety.
