Anna, at 35, has never been married and doesn't want to - she's seen a lot at work and doesn't really believe in all this love. She works as a divorce lawyer, fundamentally defends only women, and every day she watches how vilely their ex-husbands behave. However, she soon has to question her beliefs. Anna is approached by a girl who claims that her husband is beating her, but his lawyer Artyom claims that the client is lying.
