A deranged street person has flashes of sanity, and his outrage at, and disgust for, the nightly news body count inspires him to vanquish not only his inner demons, but also the very real ones that are preying, unchecked upon the innocent.

Yup Yup Man is a schizophrenic street man who wants to become a crime crusader like Dark Justice, his favorite comic book. As he focuses on his crime fighting crusade, his delusional traits weaken, making him seem outwardly normal. In the end, he must choose between a destructive world of crime fighting or aspiring to grow his inherent goodness.—Brendan Hill <[email protected]>

Emotionally traumatized when he was a little boy by an event involving the death of his father, "Robert" (William Bumiller) lives a lonely existence as the "Yup Yup Man" who aimlessly collects aluminum cans to purchase bare essentials and comic books. His favorite is titled, "Dark Justice" which involves a vigilante who fights crime beyond the auspices of the law. Witnessing crime all around him he confides to a bartender (David Bowe) that what society needs is a "caped crusader" who will take matters into his own hands and put a scare into the criminal element. Not thinking that it will amount to anything the bartender encourages Robert to do just that.—Uriah43
