Pro-cyclist Moriah Wilson's death is investigated as a potential murder when all signs to point to yoga teacher Kaitlin Armstrong killing the young woman in a jealous rage for having an affair with her boyfriend.

In their mid-thirties, Kaitlin Armstrong and Colin Strickland have been in an on again, off again relationship as they try to figure out their individual lives in this transitional period. A competitive cyclist, Colin knows his days of doing such is nearing its end as he is now losing more races than he wins. Although deep in his heart he knows Kaitlin is not the one for him, he largely stays with her in their lives being intertwined, including each having half interest in their mortgaged house, he now relying on her to stay afloat financially. Kaitlin has put behind her finance career to manage his career, and to work as a yogini, which her non-zen intensity makes her ill-suited to do with that intensity making her not realize it. She knows she has insecurity issues which leads to her manipulating Colin emotionally to stay in a relationship with her in her obsession with him. Colin doesn't really support her emotional needs, and while she truly believes he is her soulmate, her feelings are affected by her biological clock ticking in she wanting to have children. When Kaitlin learns through the grapevine that Colin was seeing someone else, fellow cyclist Moriah Wilson, during their last break from each other, Kaitlin, in her anger, does whatever she needs to to ensure that Moriah does not remain in Colin's life in any manner. So when Moriah is found murdered, the question becomes whether Kaitlin can keep her wits about her in her psychopathy to elude the police in even considering her as a suspect.—Huggo
