Jin-sook is transferred to a new school after some problems. There she meets the friendless Eun-young. They share their unhappy family history and soon become friends. One day, Eun-young and her mother visit Jin-sook's house to spend the night to avoid the mother's ex-husband. The next day, Eun-young's mother disappears with Jin-sook's life savings. While looking for her, they find out that the mother has a millionaire boyfriend, Mr. Choi.
