In the small community of Green Hills Vermont, an Italian-Irish family tries desperately to save what's left of their family unit. After the death of their parents, the two brothers decide to leave Vermont and go separate ways leaving their sister (Susan) all alone in the family house. After being apart for many years, Susan makes a last attempt to see the three of them happy together before the illness with which she's afflicted wins the battle. Over a crucial week-end, John, Dylan and Susan O'Brien are finally going to be able to work on some issues, settle scores and try to patch things up before it's too late.—Christian Gavin
