After being banished from their tribe, two hunter-gatherers encounter Biblical characters and eventually wind up in the city of Sodom.
Zed, a prehistoric would-be hunter, eats from a tree of forbidden fruit and is banished from his tribe, accompanied by Oh, a shy gatherer. On their travels, they meet Cain and Abel on a fateful day, stop Abraham from killing Isaac, become slaves, and reach the city of Sodom where their tribe is now enslaved. Zed and Oh are determined to rescue the women they love, Maya and Eema. Standing in their way is Sodom's high priest and the omnipresent Cain. Zed tries to form an alliance with Princess Innana, which may backfire. Can an inept hunter and a smart but slender and diffident gatherer become heroes and make a difference?—<[email protected]>
Zed (Jack Black), lives in a hunter gatherer village with Marlack (the best hunter), Maaya, a girl who he has eyes on, but she likes Marlack. Oh (Michael Cera) is a shy gatherer & has eyes for Eema who is a gatherer herself, but likes hunters. Zed is angry at being disrespected in his own village & eats from a tree of forbidden fruit and is banished from his tribe, accompanied by Oh, a shy gatherer. On their travels, they meet Cain and Abel on a fateful day, when Cain & Abel have a fight & Cain kills Abel. Cain's sister Lileth is a Lesbian & wont sleep with Zed even after being given permission by her father. Cain brother Seth is a Homo.
Cain's father discovers that Cain has murdered Abel. Before that Cain escapes with Zed & Oh to a coastal town where they find their entire tribe being enslaved. Zed & Oh try to buy Maya and Eema but are sold by Cain into slavery instead. They are being taken to a bigger town for auction when the soldiers from the city of Sodom attack the caravan. Zed & Oh escape into the desert.In the desert they chance upon Abraham trying to sacrifice his son Isaac. Abraham takes him to the village of Hebrews & says that Sodom is a cursed city with whores, & God will smite it out of existence. Abraham wants to circumcise them & they escape & reach Sodom where they are captured by the guards & are about to be sodomized when Cain appears as a guard & saves them.
He inducts them into the Sodom army. Zed sees Princess Inanna & she sees him. The high priest sacrifices a virgin to make it rain. Inanna invites Zed & Oh to the palace & Zed finds Maya who is slaving inside. Inanna calls Zed & tells him that she thinks he is destined for greatness. The high priest is interested in Oh.
Inanna tricks Zed into entering the Holy of Holies a place where only the high priest is allowed on the pain of death. Oh is already hiding in there from the high priest. When they come out, both are captured by the King & Priest & put on trial. Zed argues that he was chosen by Gods & hence not killed in the Holy of Holies, so the King orders their death by starvation or exhaustion.
The king then chooses Maya, Eema & his own step daughter Inanna for the sacrifice, because she is always insolent to him. As they are prepared for the sacrifice, Zed decides to rebel & attacks. The people see it as the uprising of the chosen one & attack with him. The King & queen are killed & Zed kills the high priest to rescue Maya. Oh has sex with Eema & she is no longer a virgin & hence fit for sacrifice.Inanna becomes queen. Oh & Eema head back to the village while Zed & Maya head to Egypt.
