The story started when Liang Mu-Cheng (Ady An) met Ren Kuang-Hsi (Vanness Wu) the rich playboy who uphold justice without truly showing it to other people. Mu-Cheng and Kuang-Hsi met by accident and left bad impression for the two, by coincidence Mu-Cheng's family which only left with her step mom and step dad (her father died so she followed her step mom) worked in the university's cafeteria owned by Kuang-Hsi's mom (his father suicide when he was small he always blamed his mom because of that) hence those two met again. Mu-Cheng was a soft kind heart girl touched Kuang-Hsi's lonely and tormented heart and the latter promised to always protect her no matter what happen. Mu-Cheng's step dad was a crazy old maniac whom continuously harassing her until one day he tried to rape her but her step mom got in the right time but didn't believe of Mu-Cheng's innocence, Kuang-Hsi who came late knew what happened beat the old maniac and the school decided for the "truth hearing commission" like the court system but it's inside university not on public, Kuang-Hsi who didn't graduate his law school until his 4th year decided to become Mu-Cheng's lawyer and worked together with Hua Tuo-Ye (Kang Ren Wu) (Mu-Cheng's friend who had a long time crush for her but never been reciprocate back) hence prove Mu-Cheng's innocence. Then Kuang-Hsi was having this tumor forced him to break up with Mu-Cheng before they even started dating but he realized that Mu-Cheng could accept him then those two fighting together for his well being. More drama until Mu-Cheng forced to leave Kuang-Hsi but she was pregnant. 6 years passed let the faith make Mu-Cheng, the amnesic Kuang-Hsi and their son met together again those two love never vanish but Kuang-Hsi didn't remember her and she was pretending not knowing him but their son immediately recognized Kuang-Hsi as his father, the bond between father and son changed Kuang-Hsi became different person and knowing Mu-Cheng again who he thought never met before brought his old self back before he had amnesia after the brain surgery. Things changed when Kuang-Hsi got his memory back and forced Mu-Cheng to marry her.
