Created by Go Nagai, this sci-fi/fantasy puppet series sees heroes Shiro Ginga, Bongo Heracles, and Bigman Lee protect a girl named Lamia from the evil Gelma Armada, with the supership X Bomber and its giant robot component, Big Dai-X.

As the year 3000 approaches, a war-torn Solar System is invaded by the Imperial Alliance in search of a supreme being, the F-01. In the year 2999, humanity enjoys peace following the end of several Space Wars. The Earth Defense Force (EDF) is tasked with protecting the planet. The peace ends when an alien battle cruiser attacks and destroys EDF's Pluto base. The battle cruiser's female leader is Commander Makara, who orders humanity to surrender "F-Zero-One" to her. The humans have no idea what is that, but they activate the powerfully-armed spacecraft named X-Bomber to face the threat.
