Photographer John Gabriel, in his mid-twenties, coincidentally meets 13 year old Flora, who's run off from home and has nowhere to sleep. They start a love affair due to both of their need for affection.

It's completely OK to the parents that she has run off, and John finds himself in a difficult choice between following his own or others' expressions as a photographing artist.
