Drama set in 1940 about a peasant who traverses Cyprus to pray at a monastery.

More than anything in the world, Evagoras, a humble Cypriot paterfamilias, wants to have a son. So, to make his dream come true, the desperate father makes a vow to Apostle Andrew. As the benevolent saint grants his wish, Evagoras embarks on a long, arduous journey on his donkey to fulfil his promise, unaware that WWII has broken out.
