Wonder Seven, a secret group of well-trained government agents in China, has been assigned a case of a computer disc robbery. At first everything seems to go smooth, when a disastrous national conspiracy unravels.

Action and gymnastics form a very happening combination! The result is a stunt-filled, action-packed spectacle. Wonder Seven is about seven martial artists, each with different skills, who come together to take on a group of international crime organizations.—Towne 3, San Jose, Ca

The Wonder 7 are seven orphans, working as an undercover unit in Hong Kong, in the run-up to the Handover in 1997. They are sent to bring in a corrupt military officer, who is conducting an arms deal. Unfortunately, it all goes pear-shaped, the officer is killed, and when they attempt to pass on the evidence to their contact, one of the team members and their superior officer are shot. From then on, it becomes personal, and the team attempt to get the evidence back, facing off against two enemy agents, one of whom is a psychotic maverick, the other is a woman with whom the team leader appears to be falling in love. All of which is a backdrop to an assortment of fight locations and a dramatic finale.—Simon Landmine
