The superintendent of a women's prison is pressured to pardon a member of a criminal gang. When she refuses, her daughter is framed on a manslaughter charge and sent to prison.

Daisy Saunders (Mayo Methot), a hard-boiled gangster's moll hijacks her bank-robbing pals of their loot, hides it and has herself arrested to escape the mob's vengeance and is sent to prison. Gangster Barney Morse (Arthur Loft)schemes to get her out of prison on parole and make her reveal where she has hidden the stolen money. When Martha Wilson (Sarah Padden'), superintendent of the women's prison, refuses to recommend Daisy to the parole board. Morse then frames Martha's daughter Ann (Wyn Cahoon)o0n a manslaughter charge and she is sentenced to serve ten years in her mother's prison.—Les Adams <[email protected]>
