This captivating, Icelandic Documentary - Drama follows the journey of Svana the singer, and Agnes the biologist as they travel around Iceland. They visit various unique cafes run by dynamic women exploring their dreams and daily lives.

This hybrid feature film dances firmly on the thin line between a documentary and fiction while flirting curiously with experimental genres, diving into the dreamlike world of magical realism. The audience shall expect a magical journey through enchanting landscapes on a road trip in Iceland, where women's life stories and dreams weave a tapestry with living legends of the land, family recipes, colorful costumes, music, humor, and our daily lives; love, wins and sorrows. The film features 9 ladies who all play or are themselves. A partly scripted part is built on true grounds and in the 5 small documentaries included, we open the doors to the lives of 6 ladies who established and run unique cafes in remote locations where they are born. Their sustainable businesses contribute immensely to the local communities and tourism.
