During a raging blizzard in Fawn Circle, Minnesota in January of 1983, civilians started inexplicably disappearing. Video and audio recordings were recovered. Many of the disappearances happened around Scott's Manor. Mayor Daniels tries to keep in under the rug. Private investigator Carl Denby is hired by Darcy Millbanks to investigate the disappearance of her brother Steven.
