When young Vili starts shooting at birds, a fairy decides to teach him a lesson and turns him into a sparrow.

Vili, the little boy from Pest, fakes illness and doesn't go to school so he doesn't have to write a math test. Instead, he starts shooting at sparrows from the window with an air rifle. The kindly old lady who feeds the birds, Verbéna, turns out to be a real-life miracle-working fairy who tries to turn Vili into a good boy.—Steve Varadi
