In this social experiment disguised as a late-night docu-talk-show in the style of Chelsea Lately meets In Living Color meets Rupaul's Drag Race, charismatic entertainer and Off-Broadway sensation, WILLIE the GENIUS, is not only the show's host, but points the spotlight directly on themselves in a bold and unflinching manner. Under the heat of the luminous stage lights, Willie brazenly examines their past traumas, confronting and exploring topics like HIV, drug addiction, and other hot-button issues while inviting guests center stage to share their own experiences. In each captivating 1-hour episode, WILLIE chronicles the creation of their daring Off-Broadway solo-theater show, "WILLIE GETS NAKED!," embarking on a soul-baring 13-week odyssey across the cities of New York City, Houston, and Miami. WILLIE interweaves triumphant tales of a community in chrysalis, blending humor, insight, and family through various skits, sketches, and illuminating interviews in front of a live studio audience. Each episode opens with the WILLIE GETS NAKED.
