Teenagers at White Water Academy of the Arts pursue dreams of entertainment stardom while navigating classes, relationships, and dorm life together.
For the teenage students at the White Water Academy of the Arts, making it in the entertainment industry as singers, dancers, musicians or artists is a dream. Attending the prestigious institution is a good start to achieving their goals, but the day-to-day reality of being a teenager -- including classes, family matters and relationship issues -- often get in the way. This drama series goes inside the school to show what the performers go through as they chase their dreams while having to navigate through their teenage years. The students push themselves as relationships grow while the teens live with one another in the school's living dormitories. The students include: Kenzie Brewer, a hip hop dancer who got in without an audition because of her high skills, her brother Nick Brewer, a singer with a big ego; Alex Jacobs, Kenzie's new roommate who is super into ballet and dreams to make it to prima status by end of her first year; Brandon Anderson, the guy who everyone wants to date and lead singer of the coolest boy band at the academy; Skye McMann, the headmaster's daughter and school mean girl with a very unique tone of singing.
