Hoping to nab a gang of jewel thieves, a government agent poses as a crook and travels across the country with a female thief.

A trio of crooks -Ed Dexter, Harry Ames, and Vivian Palmer track a set of valuable pearls from Europe to America. In New York, the gang successfully pulls off the robbery. G-man Ross McBride is put on the case and posses as a fellow thief to win Vivian's trust. Hotly pursued by a rival gang, the pair travel across country.
