Synopsis

When Police Become Prey (www.whenpolicebecomeprey.com)

In this 90-minute doc, two police officers speak out for the first time about what happened in their cruiser when they dropped off aboriginal Darrell Night on the outskirts of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Night arrived home safely. However, in a tragic coincidence, within a week, two native men were found frozen in roughly the same vicinity. Although there was no link between the events, many in the media and public condemned these exemplary officers without ever hearing their side of the story -- and the justice system seems to have gone along with media pressure for fear of public outrage.
