An adaptation of a series of children's books by the comedy writer Frank Muir and the illustrator Joseph Wright. The main character is an Afghan Hound puppy. His formal name is Prince Amir of Kinjan, but he is known by the nickname "What-a-Mess" for both his disheveled appearance and for his tendency to cause accidental disasters. He lives with his mother, the Duchess of Kinjan, and an unnamed family of human owners.—Dimos I
