A film about art and the environment. It documents a year the studio of painter Deborah DeWit, parallel with a year of restoration activities on a former dairy farm adjacent to a water treatment facility, a 'postage stamp wilderness' which provided inspiration and subjects for her work. It explores themes of our place in nature, the responsibility of an artist to portray the world as she sees it, and the imperative to all of us to merge science, perception and expression to find a way to sustain all life.—Anonymous
