Animated shortform miniseries featuring updated versions of Universal's classic monsters in the online video game Fortnite.
The Bride of Frankenstein is recruiting all of the Universal Monsters because something called "The Void" is coming for their dimension. It's turning them black and white and turning normal humans in to mindless slaves. The Bride, who has the ability to predict the future, is saving the monsters right before they die.
She saves Dracula from being killed in a samurai duel with Van Helsing. She cuts off Van Helsing's cybernetic arm and asks Dracula to give her one of his fangs.
She saves The Wolfman from his life of being a bus boy in a Moroccan Cafe where other werewolves are used as slaves and entertainment. He frees the slaves and the Bride asks him for his Wolfsbane, which he was using to hold back his transformation.
She saves the The Mummy, who is doing her own research in to The Void. According to The Bride's clairvoyance, the Mummy would invoke Egyptian magic that would accidentally kill her. Instead, The Bride suggests that the power the Mummy seeks was already inside of her all along, and she brings an army of mummies to life so they can escape an attack by The Void.
They all meet in Nigeria, where one of the Evil Fortnite Cubes rests below a cathedral, next to the corpse of Frankenstein's creature. Using the powers of all the other monsters in combination with The Cube, she brings the Creature back to life, which cures the world of The Void when the Creature yells "WE WILL BE MONSTERS!"
Frankenstein's creature then proceeds to punch a hole in reality, opening a portal to the Fortnite island. Dracula asks the Creature what's over there, to which the Creature replies: "Other monsters, just like us." They all jump into the Fortnite island together.
