This short video-art deals with the concept of 'Homeland'. Born in Argentina, I chose to immigrate to Israel at the age of 17, so this concept is very ambivalent for me. I came to Israel with the ideal of helping to build the country only to find that everything was already done. The film is a short documentary about my (fictive) life in my hometown of Rishon Lezion, one of the first settlements founded 130 years ago. While visiting several key sites of my town , I tell my story about the beginnings of the town and my (fictive) deeds during the Independence War. The dissonance happens mainly because I tell the stories in Spanish. This film deals with questions about migration, history and language.—Anonymous
