Ginger and Dixie are process servers for goofy lawyer Homer Bronson. The two friends want to quit, but they're offered a thousand dollars to serve four subpoenas in a breach of promise suit against rich C. Richard Courtney. Little does Ginger realize, C. Ginger Stewart and Dixie Tilton are primarily gold-diggers but at the present time are working as process servers for lawyer Homer Bronson who majors in serving breach-of-promise suits and minors in puzzles, neither of which he does well. Ginger falls in love with a man, Carter, she met at a park bench whom she thinks is a chauffeur but is really C. Richard Courtney, a wealthy playboy who specializes in avoiding breach-of-promise servings and suits.
