Elena Tarasova is a young woman who works as a taxi driver. She is lonely, disappointed in men, but has a close friend of a race car driver, to whom she flies to different cities on dates. Once, after the refusal of the head of the taxi company to give another vacation at her own expense, Lena decides to deceive him and asks the sailor she met on the street to introduce himself as a fiance.
