Norman and Ethel spend the summer, as usual, in their log house by the lake. While Norman tries to hide the first signs of senility, Ethel tries to hide that he is not quite succeeding. Ethel puts up with Norman's whims, but finds it difficult to see through his irreconcilable relationship with daughter Chelsea, who is now coming to visit for the first time in eight years. Chelsea brings her new boyfriend Bill and his teenage son Billy, whom they leave with Norman and Ethel over the summer. Recorded from a stage performance at Royal Danish Theater.
