13-year-old Moscow schoolboy Artyom discovers a mysterious box of matches in his school locker, which, as it turns out, can grant any wish. The inventor Artyom does not miss the chance to become a real wizard and gives free rein to his unbridled fantasy. A match breaks, and an elephant walks along the Moscow boulevard. Another breaks, and the whole street, against its will, dances a crazy dance. Later, Tyoma meets the mysterious Magical Girl, who gave him the box. Together they soar in the star-studded sky, go down to the seabed without scuba gear, travel through the worlds of fantasy and memories... Truly endless possibilities of matches open up to Tyoma. However, everything has its price.
