Based on real incidents of the demolition of 'illegally constructed' Maradu flats, Vidhi weaves in two stories; apart from the real-life flat demolition, there is a story of Wayanad tribal colony murders and police atrocities.

'Maradu 357', which is based on the demolition of the flat complexes in Maradu, Ernakulam. Around 350 families lost their dream home. The movie will portray the emotional turmoil the resident went through both before and after the demolition of the flat complexes.—Shrinivas G. Kulkarni
