Carvalhinho (Milton Rodrigues) realizes that with the attention he exerts on women, he may well leave his life as a pharmaceutical salesman to live comfortably. To begin with, Cristina (Odete Lara), his lonely and unloved neighbor, supports him with checks for millions. And Olga (Annik Malvil), an unscrupulous woman, influences him to steal jewels. Carvalhinho is as irresponsible as he is mediocre and will have to choose between giving up or maturing as a scoundrel.
