Mike has the ability to jump between parallel universes, universes similar to his own but with slight changes. However he can't jump back to his own universe. He enlists the help of two scientists, thought experimental physicist Tegmark and theoretical physicists Dr. Hugh Everett to try to find out how and why he has this ability and ultimately get him home, though they both have other ideas. Until he can get home, in one of the many universes he can jump to he decides to try and live a normal life with Eva.—Ciaran Lowry
