This story begins with a manqué-marriage: Andrea is Luciano's promised bride, but she abandons him when she discovers that he is in love with her sister Flor. Desperate, she abandons her family and finds real love with racing-driver Marcelo--who is involved with Irene. Flor is pregnant by Luciano; ashamed, she gives the baby to her sister, who is now married to Marcelo. After some years, Flor also gets married. She realizes she can't have any more children, but her husband wants a child, so she decides to get her child back from her sister Andrea.
