A gangster and his flunkies abduct and kill a man's daughter. Soon, the man's adopted son sets out to avenge her death.

Havaldar rescues a baby boy from the gutter and takes him to his house; his wife Parvati chooses to disassociate herself from this child and leaves the house with their son. Havaldar names the child Ajay and raises him while his wife and son named Shlok live separately. Ajay arranges Shlok's marriage with Pooja but her wealthy businessman father demands a sum of 1 core rupees which Ajay provides albeit by gambling. Here is where Ajay will find that his life is not the same anymore as he and his dear ones are targeted by local gangsters as well as corrupt high-ranking politicians and the police commissioner himself.—gavin ([email protected])

Orphaned and abandoned at birth, Ajay has a very cynical view of the world and is unable to secure employment. He does find work at a hospital but is angered at the manner in which the doctors and staff treat corpses, often releasing them to the next of kin for a price, and his protests get him fired. He gambles in order to get money so that his friend, Shlok, can get married to wealthy Pooja. His guardian, Havaldar, finds out about his gambling bout, which has angered local gangsters, beats him severely and asks him to leave. Homeless, poor, hungry and with angry goons on his tail, Ajay has virtually nowhere to run and will soon realize that his time is running out.—rAjOo ([email protected])
