Veedu (Home) is drama of Balu Mahendra, a noted film director and cinematographer, known for poetic touches. Story placed in late 1980s Chennai, revolves around a family's tryst with living in own house. The family is run by a single income of parent-less middle aged girl with grand father and school going younger sister to support. Story warps naturally with a notice to vacate the rented house. Overcoming the financial constraints,house builds among confusion, cheating, pain and a hope of breathing in a own house.
