Swedish documentary in two parts about the terrible accident at Kolmården in 2012 when the thirty-year-old guide Karolina lost her life after being attacked by a herd of wolves. Karolina worked as a guide for the popular attraction "Närkontakt varg", where visitors could follow into the wolves' enclosure. During the police investigation, several astonishing shortcomings in the zoo's routines emerge.
