Synopsis

The movie is about the story of mexican poet Ramon Lopez Velarde, who born in the city of Jerez in the state of Zacatecas. The poet was in love of Josefa de los Reyes "Fuensanta". She dies at early age and that makes Ramon to write poetry inspired by her memory. Ramon was involved in the Mexican Revolution as one of the closest colaborators of President Franciso I Madero. The movie touches and resembles some of the most important poems of the poet and narrate some of the passages of his life. Was filmed at locations where the poet lived and worked. Shows how Mexico and the mexican province were at the beginings of the 20th. century.
