Mahmut marries Senem, whom he sees in a brothel and falls in love with. The couple settles in with Mahmut's family in the village. However, Senem, who is used to city life, has a hard time keeping up with the village. Mahmut's family starts to exclude Senem over time, using this as an excuse.
