Anthony has just been released from prison after serving 7 years for his involvement in the shooting of two people. The shooting was revenge over the killing of his cousin, Jake. After he is released he is eager to reunite with his girlfriend, Kattia and his best friend, Derrick. Anthony's co-defendant, Victor is still in prison and finds out that Anthony was released through Derrick, who is also the younger brother of Victor. This raises suspicions about how Anthony was released so early. Meanwhile one of the people killed during the shooting was the sister of Carlos, who is still trying to avenge her murder.
