A psychological thriller which depicts the fact that "Today is a gift - that's why it's called Present" in an unusual way. It is about a man called Neenu, who lives in the present. The film takes the audience through a journey of his life by detailing why Neenu lives in the present, by exploring his past and his future - both as seen by different people in Neenu's life. The film also highlights that happiness can be attained by means other than wealth.—Sooji
The film starts with a police officer finding a property will that should belong to Neenu. Then start lessons of psychology classes that says ask us to not worry about the future and to live "You". in the present, Kushi asks her proffessor if there is any person who can live that way. the professor suggests a name called Neenu which in kannada means "You". Neenu is the man without the thoughts about his future. This unique behaviour of him attracts everyone around him including heroine Lakshmi(Kristina Akheeva) who is a psychology student. The twist in the saga is when Neenu is been chased by the underworld dons and local rowdies. There is a complete chain between Neenu, Lakshmi, and these underworld dons in the story. Along with these underworld dons, Kushi(Parul Yadav) and Police Officers also chase Neenu.
