Max Helmer, son of Paul Helmer, a great businessman, must now work for a while as domestic help to know better what is work and the value of money. He will help Elena and her children.

Champagne, parties, beautiful women: This is what a normal "working day" looks like for the industrialist's son Max Helmer. The good-looking womanizer sees his managerial position in the family's large corporation as more of a nuisance. So it's no wonder that his tradition-conscious father Manfred is very worried about the future of the company, because Max is supposed to follow in his footsteps one day. But soon old Helmer is presented with a welcome opportunity to bring his unsettled son to his senses: When the entire management staff of the corporation is ordered to return to the "base" for two weeks to remember what work means, poor Max is hit particularly hard. He is supposed to go to work for single businesswoman Elena Gruber and her three children - as a domestic help. At first, the clever Max leaves no stone unturned to avoid work: a cleaning team takes care of the house cleaning and a luxury caterer delivers lunch, while the snobby millionaire's son puts his feet up as usual. Only when his father gets wind of the matter and threatens severe consequences does Max try to complete his task with some honor. Elena's spirited kids want to get rid of their new supervisor as quickly as possible, while Max, for his part, is increasingly fascinated by his attractive client. And although Elena also takes a liking to her charming "house husband", Max cannot land the self-confident businesswoman as easily as he does with his usual party girls. Elena also has completely different problems: the fashion company she works for is on the verge of bankruptcy. When Max hears about her worries, his entrepreneurial spirit awakens. He secretly develops a plan to save Elena's company by means of a friendly takeover by the Helmer Group - of course also in the hope of impressing the woman of his dreams. But the plan threatens to backfire. When Elena finds out who is behind the tempting takeover offer, she feels betrayed. Convinced that Max only sneaked into her house to spy on her, she turns away from him.—ADR Das Erste
