At the “Unnatural Death Institute” (UDI), medical coroner Mikoto investigates the sudden death of a young man initially ruled as heart disease. With her team, lab technician Yuko Shoji and rookie recorder Rokuro, they uncover signs of possible drug poisoning, just as a female colleague of the deceased also dies mysteriously.
