In March of 2014, Coach Mark Nardone (Kru) traveled to Thailand with only three fighters to represent Team USA at the MuayThai World Championships.
While many governments of other countries promote and help fund their national Muay Thai Teams, The United States of America does not (not yet at least). So when the 2014 World MuayThai Championship was announced, a small, self-funded team of 3 fighters came to answer the call. Nate, Julian and Jo all train in New England, and they were the only three fighters to register for the championship this year, while some other teams like Brazil, Indonesia and France (to name a few) had much larger numbers of people on their teams.
From the start America will be the underdogs, but will they prove everybody wrong and win it all?
