Summaries

Inspired by narrations of Lalo Parra's childhood with his brother, Roberto Parra. This is a story of real accounts mixed with fantasy tales from one of Violeta Parra 's siblings, Lalo Parra.

"Elephant, the horse" tells the adventures of Roberto (8), a shy boy with a love for comic books, and Lalo (10), his brother, a lover of strong emotions. With their family, they arrive to visit their grandfather who is about to die. Before dying, the grandfather gives the brothers a very special mission: when he passes, they have to set free his horse before they sell it. The next day, the grandfather has passed away, and the kids in secret, will lead the horse to its freedom. In their journey across the countryside they will meet a man named Infausto, with his body tattooed all over and a frightening look; he threatens the boys and steals the horse, taking the horse with him to the circus where he works at. Lalo and Roberto will decide to sneak into the circus and try to recover the horse, even though that puts their lives in danger. Without knowing, the boys will experience an adventure that will make them grow and value each other as brothers.
