You've probably seen far-right Americans on Louis Theroux's documentaries, but this is a more intimate and sensitive portrait of a family for whom the language of Christianity articulates frustration with being American. The patriarch of the family reveals his research, ideology, doubts about that ideology and misadventures of his protest. A former high school principal, he lost his job and property by protesting against the American Government, which he describes as corrupt, illegitimate, aggressive and possibly the vehicle of the Anti-Christ. He questions whether the US Government destroyed the World Trade Centre; calls American military actions 'barbaric' and 'mindless' and calls the American people 'principal-less, back-boneless clones' for allowing themselves to be propagandized. HIs nickname for the Government is 'Corporate US' but he's not on the Left.—Anonymous
