Setting: Ireland: Dun Laoghaire - London: Kentish Town Period:1930s/1990s

The O'Reilly's are a complicated family. Young Donagh finds out just how complicated when he starts to have suspicions about who his real father might be. Based on real events in the Writer's own life 'TWO WHITE SHIRTS' is an affectionate and moving look at life in an extended Irish family who live their lives between Dublin and London. The story is told through two parallel timelines - with the action taking place in both London and Dublin from the 1920s to the 1990s. Where finally Donagh decides to pursue the truth about his family with the aid of DNA tests. Yet still some secrets are taken to the grave.
