Synopsis

This is the story of two men from opposite ends of the spectrum of life, who somehow get inexplicably intertwined. The story happens over 24 hours, from the dawn of the eve of Bakrid to the dawn of Bakrid. Most of the story takes place on roads, desert roads and deserts of theUAE. Abukka, the protagonist, is a 63 year old, pickup driver who is a widower with two married daughters, and has been in the UAE for more than 35 years. He lives in Dubai and works for a company based more than 400 kilometers away and drives loads to the company daily. He wakes up in the morning to a long-standing request from his younger daughter for asum of Rupees five lac's. If he doesn't find the money, he will lose the land where his wife's grave lies, which is something he cannot bear and He has to find the money. He tried his best toarrange the sum, but all his efforts are in vain. With a disappointed heart he begins his return journey from his company site, hoping that the morning of Bakrid will resolve his issues. Heplans to take the longer desert road to avoid the Bakrid eve traffic. On the way he sees a stranded businessman whose car had broken down. He gives the man a lift and an eventful journey that will turn his life upside down begins. In the meanwhile, there is a case building up on many fronts in the UAE and the police are on the lookout for a fugitive who has committed financial crimes and a search has begun. Sanjay, the antagonist is the businessman that Abukka picks up. He comes across as an eccentric character who tends to display severe mood swingsthat confuse, irritate, scare and anger Abukka. Throughout the journey Sanjay behaves erratically, and the traveling with Sanjay is becoming a nightmare to Abukka. It's a cat and mousegame. What happens in the end is unpredictable. But the Virtue always wins.
